Susan has extensive experience in the management and oversight of daily operations, risk management, interior renovations and capital improvements, leasing, sales as well as disaster restoration.

Her clients praise her diplomacy and competence. “I listen to my clients and want them to be confident that I have their best interests at heart,” Susan says. “I am sensitive to their desires and goals as they relate to their real estate needs and work diligently in assisting them to attain these goals.”

Over her expansive career she has worked with some of the top commercial and residential real estate companies in Houston.  At the ripe age of 24 she held her first position in the real estate industry, she knew immediately this was the industry where she wanted to build her career.  After receiving her Texas Real Estate Sales License in 1989, she earned the RPA designation in 1998 from BOMA, and has completed all coursework to receive the CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation from IREM.

In 1999, Susan was invited to participate on a special task force for the City of Houston. The task force was charged with the evaluation and recommendations of city-owned real estate. Susan and the other real estate professionals received special recognition from Mayor Lee Brown for their contributions and industry expertise. Susan says of the experience: “I was honored and delighted to be invited to participate on the committee with some of Houston’s most respected real estate executives and professionals. I enjoyed giving back to the city that is my home.”

Susan is married to Jimmy Olguin and enjoys life as a step mother and dedicated wife.  Susan is committed to giving back to the local and greater community. She is particularly supportive of causes that help abused and neglected children. Susan and her husband support several local charities with their time, talents and resources, including The Children’s Assessment Center, Be An Angel, USO, Houston’s Children’s Charity, Houston Grand Opera, and others.
